we [myself and riley hallwood] started this blog almost one year ago before a trip to arizona to have a connection to home and let people know how it was going. we started filming for the video one year before that, almost unintentionally. in august, the video was finished and premiered in penticton and vancouver. now, there are copies in my hands, waiting...

update
well in the past week, i’ve moved to school in kelowna, and skylar briggs and mikey have gone to vancouver with nelson to film and shred, hopefully at the same time. copies of lovebolts are being made and we’re waiting on an official kelowna premiere. theres still lots of shredding going on and theres going to be some new stuff later rather than sooner, so sit tight.

after two years of hard work, lovebolts premiered at the cleland theater last night. way more people showed up than expected and everyone was real stoked. ill leave the afterparty explanation to someone else, hopefully those pictures will find their way to the internet eventually.

here are a few from two days ago, we skated by the graffiti bench spot and realized… there was no more graffiti. i also got home last night, and dropped off 9 rolls of film just a few minutes ago. its going to be a busy month for me, briggs and everyone filming their parts, so you all better make it out on the 21st in pen and sometime soon after in vancouver!

so, it’s been advertised that tickets will be available august first. today is august first. unfortunately they’ve been held back a little, but they’ll be ready and available through freeride and pentagon next week. once the exact day is confirmed, it’ll be posted up here.

went to vernon today, we got there late but still got lots of skating in. deadline is close and everyones finishing up quick, its going to be a busy few days.

riley’s here for his birthday, him and kurt and i skated upon arrival. hopefully being one of the last liquidation world night missions before the video’s done. in other news, kurt’s been hammering out the clips, trying to get a full section filmed before editing begins (in three days).

stefen and robert came to town today and despite the rain, we still had a good time. we drove around to a couple spots in hopes of dryness, but we ended up here, at the art gallery, where there’s currently a show going on until september that features skateboard articles and pieces and also a couple ramps. it was pretty fun. here’s stefen with an ollie to fakie.

went for a sesh in richmond tonight with mark, found a couple sick spots, we’ll definitely be going back soon. mark got a smith pop out on a rail in an industrial park, and hopefully ill have the photo in a few days from the second spot, i shot some film there. there were hicks shooting off guns from their trailers across the street from there, da s1mpl3 lyf3 br0.
